Miriam brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a licensed Davis facilitator, with a strong focus on supporting neurodivergent students. She graduated from Surrey College as an Education Assistant and has since dedicated her career to understanding and addressing the unique learning needs of individuals on the learning spectrum.
Miriam's journey in education began with specialized training as a Behavior Technician under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, where she honed her skills in developing effective strategies for supporting individuals with autism. She further enhanced her expertise through specialized training at Hanley FTF Behavior Consulting as a Skills-Based Treatment Behavioral Consultant. This combination of training and hands-on experience equips Miriam with a comprehensive toolkit to support diverse learning needs.
What truly sets Miriam apart is her personal journey as a parent navigating learning challenges with her four children. This experience has given her profound personal insight into the struggles and triumphs that families face. She understands the importance of creating a supportive environment where individuals can thrive, and she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their full potential and lifelong success.

I am passionate about the Davis Method because it confirms what I have learned through decades of experience: people thrive when their unique ways of thinking are understood and respected. As a Davis Facilitator, I love working one-on-one with clients—helping them unlock their potential and celebrating as their confidence and abilities grow.
For more than 35 years, I have worked with neurodiverse individuals. My journey began with training in American Sign Language (ASL), supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing students in public schools. ASL is a pictorial language—an ideal foundation for the Davis Method, which is rooted in understanding visual thinking. Over time, my work expanded to supporting young people with autism and other learning differences in both school and home settings. I also tutored international students in English, which broadened my appreciation for different cultures and learning approaches.
When my own sons encountered challenges in traditional school, I chose to homeschool them for a season. Working one-on-one with each of them revealed dormant potential and nurtured their unique strengths—gifts they now carry into thriving careers.
